Ecover

What is Ecover?

Ecover was founded in 1979 as a producer of the first phosphate-free detergent, developed by a small group of Flemish scientists. The company focuses on cleaning products and detergents. Since its foundation in 1979, the company has grown considerably in terms of production and range. From limescale cleaner to dishwasher tablet and from washing up liquid to toilet cleaner. Ecover stands for a clean house and a clean environment!

Why Ecover?

As a true pioneer, development has of course not stood still since then. Ecover is a true environmentalist, who keeps looking ahead and never misses an opportunity to shake things up a bit. How can we get the world clean even faster? How do we get our competitors to become environmentally friendly as well? As a fun activity, Ecover installed a large poster in front of their competitors' offices, displaying their biodegradable formula. Environmental protection is paramount at Ecover, also for everything else. If you choose Ecover, you choose:

  • A bottle made from 100% recycled plastic, which is also 100% recyclable
  • Vegan-friendly products
  • A company that purchases locally as much as possible, such as rapeseed oil from France instead of the environmentally harmful palm oil

Ecover Essential - Toilet Cleaner Pine

If we like to clean a place in the house properly, it might be the toilet. Coarse cleaning violence with chemical bleaches is a thing of the past with the Ecover Essential Toilet Cleaner. This toilet cleaner is made from plant-based, biodegradable ingredients, without compromising on its powerful cleaning power. This makes the smallest room of the house as fresh as the naturally produced pine forest scent.
