What is Petite & Patate?

Petite & Patate is a Belgian company that focuses on the most beautiful and comfortable rompers for your child! The founder Ankatrin came up with the idea for the brand when she became a mother herself. She searched for rompers that were free of chemicals and child labour, but couldn't find a suitable romper! The few ecological onesies were far too expensive, and there was no control over whether they were actually produced in a responsible manner. Ankatrin then decided to set up his own company, where the best materials are used and many external parties supervise the quality and safety!

Making a difference

All Petite & Patate rompers are 100% clean. This means that no pesticides or insecticides are used in the growth of the cotton. Also, no toxic dyes are added to get the products in the right color. The fact that no chemicals have been added to the rompers means that your baby's thin skin remains healthy. The rompers are not only a responsible choice for your child, they also help the environment. The clothing industry is the second most polluting industry in the world after oil. Petite & Patate reduces the amount of water needed to grow cotton, ensuring our fragile ecosystem is not damaged.

The rompers are available in a variety of cute colors, but one thing that definitely applies to all products is that there has been no child labor at all in the manufacturing process. This is controlled by the International Labor Organization and certified by the GOTS label. The rompers can of course get dirty quickly, and then it is important to wash them properly. It is best to soak the romper in cold water as soon as possible. You can then partially remove the stain with a nature-friendly product such as baking soda. Then you can wash the romper in the washing machine, and you will see that almost all stains have been removed!
