• Products must not contain fragrances, dyes, rosin or substances that generally cause hypersensitivity or irritation.
• Generally sensitizing or irritating adhesives (such as acrylates), fillers, interlayers or plastic membranes must not have been used in the manufacture of the product. Dust levels must also be indicated.
• The applicant must also provide results of tests of the product used, details of the formaldehyde content, details of examination tests for bacteria and the names of any antibacterial agents used.
