How do you use a washable sanitary pad?
Place the sanitary napkin in your panties, fold the wings to the bottom. Change the sanitary napkin every 4-5 hours, or when it is saturated. It is preferable to rinse the sanitary napkin after use and then store it in a wetbag (waterproof bag) until you are going to wash. You can also choose to put them in a wet bag immediately after use and pre-rinse with the washing machine when it's time for laundry. However, this increases the chance of stains.
What to use when?
- The ImseVimse panty liners can be used for the end of menstruation, but also for light incontinence.
- The normal sanitary napkin is suitable for the entire menstrual period.
- The Night or maternity pad is ideal for use at night or as a maternity pad.
Washing instructions
Wash the sanitary napkin before using it for the first time. Wash it in the washing machine at 60°C. Then it can be put in the dryer. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. This reduces the absorbency of the sanitary napkin.
