How do you use washable tampons?
Roll up the tampon. Then twist the string around the tampon. If desired, you can also secure the cord with a simple flat knot so that the tampon remains a sturdy roll. Insert the tampon as you would with a disposable tampon. Replace the tampon every 4-5 hours or when it is saturated. It is preferable to rinse the tampon after use and then keep it in a wet bag until you wash. You can also choose to put them in a wet bag immediately after use and to rinse them with the washing machine when it is time to do laundry. However, this does increase the chance of stains.

Washing instructions
When using the tampon for the first time, wash it before use. Wash the tampons in the washing machine at 60-90 °C. Then they can be put in the dryer. Wash the tampons in a laundry net with your other laundry. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. This reduces the absorbency of the tampons.

Note: 100% cotton tampons can also cause TSS (toxic shock syndrome), just like disposable tampons. Replace them often enough and pay attention to the symptoms of TSS. Preferably wear tampons for no longer than 5-6 hours to reduce the risk of TSS.
