Sponges
Small steps towards sustainability are taken in no time, replace your sponges with an ecological and environmentally friendly alternative! Many sponges are made of synthetic materials, such as plastic or polyester. Switch to a natural sponge from the sea or a sponge made from Konjac fibers to give your care ritual an even greener touch.
Sponges from the Mediterranean Sea
Traditionally, sponges are still extracted from the Mediterranean Sea around Greece. Due to the authentic way in which they are obtained, this actually contributes to regeneration and growth. As a result, natural sponge can still be collected in an environmentally friendly manner and it offers an ecological alternative to synthetic sponges. The sponges are wonderfully soft and are also supplied in a 100% biodegradable packaging. These Greek honeycomb sponges are available in two different variants: for the entire body or an extra soft one especially for the face.
Konjac sponge
Konjac fibers are obtained from the East Asian Konjac plant. A tuber that is extremely suitable for processing into sponges. While the sponge feels rough and hard while it is dry, nothing could be further from the truth when the sponge comes into contact with water. The Konjac fibers change and the sponge feels silky soft. The natural sponge provides deep cleansing of the skin and the removal of dead skin cells. They are therefore extremely suitable as a sponge for facial care . There is also the Konjac Charcoal sponge from Banbu. Which combines the benefits of the Konjac fibers with those of activated charcoal, which is known for its purifying and cleansing effect.
