Why?
- Because theyare soooo comfortable!Disposable items are usually made of artificial materials.Bamboolik is made from organic cotton and has the GOTS certification.
- They are much morebreathablethan disposable items. That makes them perfect for those who suffer from repetitive infections and problems.
- They arethin but super absorbent.
- The best fit ! They are not cut from a single piece of fabric, including wings. The wings are sewn and separated by a hem around the "body" of the liner. That means nothing leaks onto the wings and the liner always stays in place.
- Without artificial additives .
- Organic cotton
How do you use night/maternity compresses?
- Like any other sanitary napkin of its kind! No problem.
- Wash your sanitary towel before using it for the first time . (Don't worry if the pad shrinks a little after the first wash. It's only the first wash, it won't shrink anymore.)
- Place your pad in your underwear with the terry side up (terry is the contact side, the side that touches your underwear is made of PUL that rustles a bit). Secure it with wings .
- Change your pads as often as you would for disposables , based on your comfort level.
- After your period is over (or after four days, whichever comes first), machine wash your pad at 60°C . We recommend soaking the pads before washing them in cold water (to dissolve hemoglobin which can permanently stain your pads).
- All of our reusable pads can be tumble dried .
- If you use these pads as maternity pads in the first days after giving birth, your bleeding is likely to be quite heavy. That's why we recommend soaking and washing your pads more often than after the recommended four days. (However, it's really the first week postpartum. In the postpartum weeks, your bleeding isn't that much different from your standard period.)

- Reusable pads can also be used as incontinence pads .
